Ok, I have spent hours reading the forum, and I am not quite sure why any of the directions are not posted clear anywhere:rolleyes: I am going crazy trying to get AnyDVD to work, do you have to have a separate program to "burn" the DVD or what? Some one please help.
Have you tried looking here for your answers http://club.myce.com/f88/ or here http://forum.slysoft.com/
AnyDVD is a resident program that strips all protections of a dvd (or bd, depending on the version). You still need to write the unprotected data to another disc if you want to make a backup. If you want to make a backup on a 4.5GB DVD (standard writable size), you will also probably need to resize (shrink) the original content.
Looks like we were typing at the same time Mr. B
I understand writing to another disk - I have DVD shrink - the question was do I need a "burning program" like roxio-nero-imgburn etc? to burn onto another disc.
Yes, both AnyDVD and DVD Shrink do not have the capability of writing a dvd. You could use Nero, ImgBurn, BurnAware Free, InfraRecorder, etc.
There are all-in-one total solutions as well like DVDFabHDDecrypter.
My suggestion would be to use Imgburn as the burning software It's good and It's FREE
