The Dutch anti-piracy organisation Brein has forced a Dutch uploader of pirated content to stop uploading and to post his apologies on torrent sites. The Dutchman shared more than 5,000 torrents on popular torrent sites like Kickass Torrents and The Piratebay, according to Brein.

Is that not a solid feather in the hat of ‘no Brein’? I will simply repeat myself here, the only ones they will ever get to is Jane and John Doe aka the common man. Of course, they will get their hands on the occasional wannabe pirate with their guard down as per always, but they will never get their hands on the ones that really matters. FORGET IT!
It is that simple really… and the idiot is getting a new king every day…

Piracy probably costs the entertainment industry hundreds of dollars, while getting caught costs thousands of euros. So… when the industry sues hundreds of people each year, they come out ahead by millions? That IS a bad thing.

If lots of people want to do a hobby, do the world a favor and stop trying to turn hobbyists into criminals!

Actually they did this themselves…now if they actually lobbied for Rules to Punish Corporation/Wall Street/Hedge fund Greed that cost the US Taxpayers’ Money BailOUTs that would be a Historical monument. Then they would not look so bad-but as anything they could care less about the working poor.
