How is this supposed to stop pirates? Like it has been said many times, pirates are always going to find a way around the system. They always have.

The French are just getting rid of it, now the US apply it …

So I get 6 chances to download and get warnings, then when they cut off my services, I get my wife to subscribe. When she gets cut off, then we can start all over with another ISP??

Considering my sister is the only one out of my siblings who has ever gotten a letter from a movie company, its a pretty low rate of getting even ONE warning. Or are they going to set up a system that hammers you as soon as you download 1 song?

I’ve gotten a warning letter outlining how my exchange of SPSS was illegal. SPSS agents warned me to stop my activities…otherwise… I’d be detained and handed over the local math club.

This is good, after all the gov knows what’s best for us.
They are only looking out for our best interest, in fact, we should never question their motives.

Sadly that last part of your line is so true…they really think 6 strikes scares pirates?? Maybe they should go and talk to the Somalia pirates and tell them you shouldn’t be pirating anymore because it hurts and takes money away… yeah right…

I believe Obama is behind this as well.

That’s hilarious.

Actually, I’m hoping this makes Windows 50% faster. Surely they can fnid a research firm to print this in a report’s headlines, yes?
