Android malware tries to infect Windows PCs through images folder

Security researchers from the Chinese antivirus vendor Qihoo 360 have discovered Android malware that tries to infect Windows computers. The Android malware pretends to be WhatsApp or Telegram and is distributed through .APK file downloads, not through Google’s Play Store.

Ironically Qihoo 360 has a reputation for malware-like distribution behavior itself, propagating self-replicating software via USB, its own brand of browser blocking other browsers from launching, adware popups, internet settings being changed after uninstallation.
