Amplifier gone bad?

I've got an amp here (Quad 303) with some problems. Whatever I do, the left channel is very weak compared to the right channel.

I already tried to exchange all the input and output cables but that doesn't make any difference.

The problem can't be in the pre-amp since it has none, it just end-amp with 1 button: power on/off.

Does anybody know what could be wrong with this amp?
Normally I'd say that some transistors where blown up because of overloading the amp, but since the sound on the left channel is perfect (no weird ticks or whatsoever!) I don't think that's the prob...

did you clean the connectors to the pre amp? They could be dirty
Or there is a problem in the left channel in the amp (When your lucky the is a (weerstand sorry, don’t know the english word) wich has to be replaced)
Had it once with my cyrus 1

I am pretty sure that the connectors are all clean.

You say a resistor (weerstand ja;)) could be the reason for this prob…?
How can I test them the best way?
