The American public utility Lansing Board of Water & Light has posted on Facebook and Twitter that the company has become the victim of ransomware. It’s unknown which type of ransomware infected the network but the malware did its job after someone opened an email attachment.

It’s unknown which type of ransomware infected the network but the malware did its job after someone opened an email attachment.
And here we go again, no matter how many times you tell people don’t open attachments you don’t know or recognize they go and do it all over again. Whom gave this employee Admin privileges to begin with should be [B]FIRED [/B]along with the employee that opened that attachment.
