Synopsys has demonstrated world’s first USB 3.2 transfer. The latest USB specification promises twice the bandwidth of USB 3.1 Gen 2 with speeds up to 20 GBit/s. During the demonstration that speed was not achieved.


Nice. but at the end of the day regular USB 3 speeds will be easily good enough for most people for years to come.


Couldn’t have said it better myself. The value USB3 compared to USB3.2 is about nill otherwise costing you a leg and arm instead. So no USB3.2 for all the hype is no better then USB3 for your run of the mill john/jane doe users.
