Ok I am a newbie at all this but here’s what I did.
I used DVD shrink to rip a DVD and then wrote it to YUDEN000T01 with my 2500a at 8x with the newest Nero.
My Kprobe is at the bottom. Now the DVD plays fine. But I have no idea why the horrible Kprobe.
Kprobe write strategy is 4x speed 8ecc
I am using Harrys Beta 5 drivers.

Nero Burning Rom 6.3.1.6 registered
Any ideas ?

You are not doing anything wrong.
Kprobe does not work well on Liteon DVD-ROM drives!
You can NOT compare a Kprobe scan done in a DVD-ROM drive to a Kprobe scan done in a Liteon DVD writer.
This is due to Kprobes’ inability to lock the read speed on the DVD-ROM drives.
If you scanned that disc in a LiteOn DVD burner I am sure the scan would turn out excellent.

Kprobe gives rubbish scans when used with a DVD-ROM drive, you can only get good scans using a DVD burner and with the speed limited.
For speed limiting use CD BREMSE 2x or 4x
The results will still be shit though, for good looking results you need a Liteon burner.
Both look fine!
Would Nero’s Drive Speed work as well ?
