This is also a great deal, less than .50 a GB.:iagree:

With this price, they should be a standard feature of midrange laptops. From a quick check on Dabs here, the cheapest laptop with a 240~256GB SSD I could find is a MacBook Air priced at €1054. The only cheaper laptops with SSDs preinstalled start around ~€600 with a ~128GB SSD.

It’ll be interesting to see how long it’ll take to have a $99 1TB SSD.

too bad 256gb is not enough for most people’s need… 512 would be ok considering the amount of bloat windows 7 and 8.x has… It’s sad we still see 8gb tablets on the market… lol
also noticeable, usb flash is inching downward…
Maybe by my next build a 512, 768 or 1tb drive can be $100?

I only carry 480GB and above in my shop, I had to get rid of all the 120GB and 128GB on Ebay. They just don’t sell at any price. The most popular SSD right now is the Crucial 1TB (m-550) for 415.00USD.
