[newsimage]http://static.rankone.nl/images_posts/2011/01/Kqv1A4.jpg[/newsimage]The controversial UK law firm ACS:Law is facing more trouble as their "pay up or else" file-sharing-accusing scare letter tactics are being examined by court officials. I’ve always wondered what would happen if you threaten a law firm right back. I mean, tell the BSA or something that they are using pirated copies of Office 2003.

With all the dirt that has come out about ACS:Law, I wouldn’t be surprised if they used pirated software themselves.

Part of Crossley’s statement read out by MediaCAT barrister Tim Ludbrook, illustrates Crossley’s attitude:

“I have ceased my work…I have been subject to criminal attack. My e-mails have been hacked. I have had death threats and bomb threats … It has caused immense hassle to me and my family”, he said.

His hypocritical statement conveniently forgets to mention the hassle his business inflicted on thousands of people and their families also. It doesn’t apologise for wasting the court’s time, nor does it apologise to the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority for his conduct.

With an attitude like that he deserves all he gets.

Quote: “I want to tell you and your client I am not happy and I get the distinct impression with every twist and turn that there is a desire to avoid any judicial scrutiny.”

Ya think?! Shut up Judge, just let me do what I want and bugger off…

Riiggghhhttttt, like that’s going to happen…
