Accessing unallocated hdd space

I installed XP on new 160GB hdd this morning, I made a 30GB partition for the OS and was going to partition the remainder for storage. Some how I missed getting the second partition installed and now have the remainder of the hdd unallocated. Is there anyway to format that space for file storage without partitioning it or using a utility that I don’t have?

Yes,Right click"My Computer",click manage,in left pane cick “Disk Management”,right click the unallocated space, click format,it will then make it usable.Hope this helps

Thanks Jethro That Helped Alot!
