Is using KProbe scanning with a Liteon DVD-ROM such as the 166s will have accurate results? Or I should use the burner such as the LTR-411S to do the scan? Thx

Use the burner.

I don’t need instructions on how to post results as that’s what I don’t need to know. I just want to know if the results from a Liteon DVD-ROm are consistent with the results from a Liteon dvd burner.

No, they are not.

So in other words, the results from a Liteon DVD-rom is unreliable?

Yes

And what about CD-Tests on LiteOn DVD-Rom?

DVD_Rom drives report errors differently than a CD Burner. The C1 values from one have absolutely nothing to do with those from the other. KProbe2 refuses to report C1’s from a CD in a DVD drive, and for good reasons.

I’d sooner trust PI/PO from a DVD-Rom.
