This may sound dumb, but how come when I burn audio cds you can never visually see where the file has been written on the cd?
But yet when I burn data discs it makes a darker imprint on the bottom of the cd?
Are your referring to the “burn ring”? Sounds like your data disc didn’t have much data on it and your audio CD’s are full. So the place where the burn stops on the audio CD’s are closer to the outer edge.
