I’ll bet the " it doesn’t attribute to a positive image of the movie industry" comment is the primary reason AACS-LA was created: so that the Motion Picture —holes of America could claim they had nothing to do with it (not that people are stupid enough to believe that). I’m sure the MPAA has been working closely with AACS-LA right from day one.
