A problem with Nero and my new system

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here, though i have read the forums for a couple of months.
I have been using DVDShrink and Nero 6 for a few months now without any problems. Yesterday i got a new computer and decided to also try out XP pro, since uprading, when nero tries to burn i’m getting this error msg. For the life of me i cannot work out whats wrong - it’s driving me crazy
Hopefully someone will know what all this means.

Thanks!

If I recall right, I got a similar message when I had some bad media.

Have you tried a diffrent disk from the pack and or a diffrent brand of disk? Have you used this brand with that burner before?

Thanks for the reply ripit
I’ve just borrowed a Tayio Yuden disc and it worked without any problems,so you were right. I’m relieved to know that it’s not a problem with either XP or Nero.

Glad it helped.

I would recommend you upgrade your Nero version to the latest version as well since Nero 6 has been known to be buggy when it first came out. Since then a lot of things have been fixed. You can download the latest version from www.nero.com
