It is sweet, but you have to wonder what something like a fingerprint or any fine scratches would do to unreadability.

no more worse than a holographic disc

Lets see how long it takes to get these discs to market…at a realistic price…if they ever make it. Lets say Hitachi has gets 90% yield per later. 4 layers = 66% overall yield. Not very cost effective. More layers always = more costs…do the math…I know your all smart enough… :slight_smile:
