Hi. First post here. waves
I've got a few newbie questions so please bear with me.
My living room's a mess. A heck of a lot of LaserDiscs and VHSes. I want to convert all the reguaraly viewed ones to DVDs, and get rid of the giant laser disc player. I'll keep the VCR there just for my little sister if she wants to borrow a tape from the library or something.
I've got a Gainward Golden Sample video card with both an RCA and a S-Video in. I'm sure the VCR and VHS doesn't have S-Video out, so I'll use the RCA. I also have a stereo miniplug to RCA converter, I can use that with the audio, right?
What software should I use to record this for DVD?
Which burner should I buy? I was thinking NEC2500A since I hear it makes quality burns. I'm a poor student so using cheap media would help with my funds. (I can get a hold of spindles of Pine, Princo, SmartBuy, or RiTEK DVDs)
DVD+R or DVD-R? I'll check compatibility with my DVD Player (it's a Toshiba something or other). How about for XboX?
