A new type of streaming service is set to start today. It is called Zediva, and it bypasses copyright holder restrictions on new releases by operating like an old style movie rental shop...but this time you rent individual physical disks and have them streamed over the net to your location.
The story is at Wired.com: http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2011/03/zediva/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+wired%2Findex+%28Wired%3A+Index+3+%28Top+Stories+2%29%29&utm_content=My+Yahoo
And Zediva is here: http://www.zediva.com/splash/
Except now that more of the internet providers are starting to cap your usage ,streaming movies will still be an issue.
If they can't stop it one way they will another.
