Bought a pack of 90min CD-R and the drive only recognizes them as 700Mb

Sold as Platinum CD-R 800MB 52x

Use overburning and burn them, then you’ll see.

Thx chef for your reply but… done that already. Discs not readable above 91% (tried 3 discs - 2 using nero 6.6.0.3 and 1 using dvddecrypter) - I’m trying to burn a 790MB iso I created using cdimage.

Test it using CDSpeed and post the picture here please.

Get CDSPEED v3.55 at http://www.cdspeed2000.com (also comes with Nero : www.nero.com ).
Look in the menu -> extra -> overburning test with a blank 90 min in the drive.

Unfortunately, cdspeed locks up the drive while testing at about 91%… So then I have to reboot.
