Interesting move by 7digital! I also like how the company managed to get the record labels on board, even though DRM is being removed from the songs.

The popularity of iTunes is tied directly to the fact that there are millions of people running around with an iPod, and you have to use iTunes to transfer music over to the bloody thing. I honestly don’t like the DRM, and would prefer to be able to do what I please with the music I purchase.

i used to download from 7digital all the time…no more…they have lost my business…they now refuse to sell non us trax to us residents…i used them for lots of uk only singles…goodbye!
