Well with some 293,027,571 people in america and 2.1 persons to the household that comes out to… what? 104,652,703 homes with DVD players?

And the other 25% don’t watch movies. :stuck_out_tongue: DVDs re-invented the movie industry and resparked market growth. In fact I didn’t begin buying movies until DVD came out as I wasn’t impressed with VHS even though I grew up with it.

jdub, what kind of math are you doing? With 75% dvd saturation, that means there would be 219,770,678 houses with a DVD player. 104 million is like only 35% of the population, by your numbers.
