I can no longer READ CDRs with my 716. Win XP Pro SP1 goes BSOD with IRQ less than or equal in UDFS.sys EVERY TIME.
looks like either your USB2 or FW controller driver is corrupted. try the drive connected to a different PC if possible to determine whether it's the drive, your PC or OS/driver/software.

Also I get the same BSOD when trying to read CDs or CDRs from the laptop's built-in DVD drive !
windows update? service pack 2?
sounds like your OS install is either corrupted or you need some updates to resolve bugs.
