I'm new to the forum and have an unusual problem
Abit NF7-S , Athlon XP 2500, 1GB ram, 120 GB WD hard drive (not SATA), Toshbia DVD-Rom drive, ATR Raedon 9600 Pro, Audigy sound.
Running Windows XP home, Easy CD creator DVD edition, DVDXCopy, Nero 5.6.10
I can write a DVD+RW with 2.4X media at 2.4x speed and they work flawlessly.
I try to write a DVD+R at any speed and I get SCSI errors (I know I don't have SCSI but I get the error, I think its a driver naming thing) I have tried 3 brands of DVD+R but all to no avail.
Plextor says its the chipset, Abit and Nvidia say I'm full of it.
Do I send back the drive?
Thanks for the help and sanity check
