Hi, with reference to 188.8.131.52
I, too, am seeing the Error=100 when trying to verify and have noted the advice in another thread,
but recently (since 5.1.x.x perhaps:confused:) I also cannot make a glitch-free copy of any dvd to the hard disk on my Quad core Vista system, they all exhibit bursts of multi-coloured squares and jumps in the audio when I play back from the hard disk, although dvdfab reports no errors while creating them. I note that someone has reported problems with dual core in this thread.
My Single core XP home laptop is making perfect copies on hard disk using 184.108.40.206 of the same DVD, the video files generated by Vista differ by a few 100 bytes in length from the ones produced correctly by XP.
Anyone else noticed this problem on multi-procs
I am running Windows Vista 64bit and I really have not notied anything as small as 100bytes, but it could be a log file that Vista creates and XP does not, I wouldnt worry about as long as the DVD is fine. and yes I am also running a Quad 9550 processor.
