5 1/4 inch floppy in WinXP

I know this question has been asked a million times already, but no matter where I look, I can’t find an answer. Is it possible to get a 5 1/4 inch floppy drive working in a machine running WinXP? I’d like to transfer data off of dozens of disks, but will absolutely not pay for it. I also have the option to try it in a Win98 (although I’d much prefer the other way). Finally, if anyone knows where I can find a computer running Win3.1 that has one of these drives, this is also an option. I would like specific model names, because I’ve searched Ebay, but can only come up with a few computers.

The first way is most preferable! Also, can someone explain to me step by step how to install this drive if at all possible in WinXP? Thanks!

Worked with Win 95 have not tried it with XP yet. Win 95 picked it right up if I remember correctly.
Will try tonight in XP and let you know tomorrow is the best I can do.

Works with Win XP , I did have to go into Bios and pick the 5 1/2 as Floppy B, after that Win XP found it and it worked.
