Must be a Newegg E-mail Suscriber and use promo code: EMC1207SYME01

Reviews look good, 96% gave it 5 eggs, the other was 4 eggs with a con because of 32-bit Windows only recognizing 3.25gb.

I’m seriously considering getting it for my future quad core build.

Looks like that is a great deal to me I’m almost tempted to order some even
though I have no need for it at this time.

Was a great deal. Timing and the abilty to read quick hosed me. Oh well waiting for the next deal.

Need Vista 64Bit OS or else you will only see 3gb available.

I see 3.5 on one machine and 3.2 on the other, but thay are all 1 GB sticks. I asume the 2GB sticks will work dual channel fine, just not a full 4. Is this right?

In Stock Like Now:cool::cop::bigsmile::clap:

Good deal… was thinking about gettin 2x of this but what will I do with 8GB of memory in a Vista Home system?? I am afraid to use Vista 64, heard lots of bad rumours/bugs/kinks/flaws’/FATAILITYIES.

Yeah I have been debating going to 64bit myself.

I have a copy of Vista Ultimate just waiting to be installed but am debating on 64bit or 32bit

Have been watching this one ever since I received the email notice 3 days ago. Just chipped up kids XP to 2GB (2 x 1GB) sticks last month. Wife is hinting she wants a newer computer, she became a Facebook fanatic, throwing thing at her friends and kids. So I ordered these sticks and now will start collecting “good buy components” for a future build as they come along. Wow, Newegg had a confirmation email sent to me a minute after it was confirmed … love that Newegg.

Just ordered myself. I slept on it Saturday night and went to order Sunday morning and they were OOS.

Any one have a sure wire way of testing memory without booting one stick at a time or doing mulitple steps?

BIS and code still works

One is enough for me until I check it out on one of my boxes.

Is Ultimate the 64 bit version or do you have to special order the 64 bit version?

I believe they all come in 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

But you have to buy one or the other.

edit: looking on newegg it seems they do have some you can buy with both 32 bit and 64 bit versions

Is this good for OC? I can’t seem to find any info about it (chipset).

I don’t know, but it’s considered high performance or gaming memory.

Model
Brand A-DATA
Model ADQVE1B16K
Type 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM
Tech Spec
Capacity 4GB(2 x 2GB)
Speed DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Cas Latency 5
Timing 5-5-5-18
Voltage 1.8V
Heat Spreader Yes
Recommend Use High Performance or Gaming Memory

I only need to OC my ram a little to run my CD2 at 3.7 GHz so I will give it try and report back.

I can’t find any info on the chips or over clocking either :frowning:

I think that High performance or gaming memory needs to be 1066 (5-5-5-15) or 800 (4-4-4-12)
