44100kHz

Is 44100kHz the only frequency you should use when encoding mp3’s? Is this the only frequency you should use when burning tracks to cd?

You want 44100Hz or 44.1kHz not 44100kHz
Yes, CD’s only “accept” 44.1kHz and other sample rates needs to be resampled which means worse quality.

Yes. But Mp3 support other sample rates. If you’ve got a 48 kHz or a 32 kHz wav file, you can encode it in MP3 without changing its sample rate.
