411s Ricoh DVD+R?

Will Ricoh/Ritek DVD+R’s work well with the 411s? It is after all what came packaged with the drive but I heard that batches can vary quite a bit with LiteOn’s. Have these issues been fixed with the latest firmware or should I still be cautious? I bought my 411s for black Friday but still haven’t bought any media yet because I’m still uncertain of what will work well with the drive. OfficeMax has a deal on Memorex and from what I have read these should end up being Ricoh/Ritek. Is there any manufacture that useTaiyo Yudens exclusively that I can find readily available?

Thanks
Shawn

With FS0F, the Ricoh JPN01 is not performing all that well, 2.4x burning is recommended for safe results, 4x will be marginal in quality.

For DVD+R
not really…
verbatim datalife plus is sometimes TY
but it can also be MMC which is very good but not quite as good as TY
both are FAR better than ricoh… as far as varing quality… the MMC is good and i do not have TY for the DVD+R but TY for cdr has never let me down as far as quality!

for DVD-R
i have no clue… anyone else know?
