4-port PCIe cards that support ODD and 3TB HDD?

I have my optical drives plugged into a jmicron jmb363 which works ok, but id like to buy a card that would support some 3tb sata hard drives.

could anybody recommend a pcie 4 port card.

does anybody know if this one is suitable? :- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251394787976?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

eddy64, I’ve moved the thread for you in the hope you’ll get more responses that way

eddy64 - I’m not 100% sure, but the card here looks identical to the one you linked to. You may wish to check the reviewer comments, which at first glance look positive overall.

thanks i’ll check it out.

Could someone change the Title to reflect that when someone is making an acronym, in this case “Optical Disc Drive”, the acronym should be all CAPS?

Look at the title and see how else it COULD be read…

left me thinking “Want is an “odd Hard Drive”?” for a moment…

Typed as “ODD and 3TB” would be less prone to misinterpretation.

i’ve ordered the syba card from amazon, seems to support 3tb hd’s, think I will see if it works in my spare pcie x 16 slot before taking the other card out.
