After slightly disappointing sales in the first six months the 3DS saw excellent sales over the holiday following an agressive price cut by Nintendo. The PlayStation Vita on the other hand isn't seeing fantastic sales after its launch week leading to questions of how well the system will fare moving forward. If Sony dropped the price of the handheld AND the memory cards (ridiculous to use a proprietary card just to be able to charge even more…), then I MAY consider purchasing a Vita, but I (plus many people that I know) have been on a Sony product “strike” so to speak as they ridiculously charge more than anyone else for their products, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
