Now that the new 3Dmark is out, i was courious as to if many have tryed it yet and what Mark they got?

On a AMD 2000+, ATI 9000 Pro, I got 1980

#2

869 on my poor old Gf3Ti200… My 2100+ could do nothing to help my vidcard…
I’m awating my Radeon 9500 Pro :stuck_out_tongue:
Now this maybe should be in General Software… But I’m too lazy to move it.

Edit:

I was not

I thought the 9500 was already out in most place and that they was looking at the 9900…
Also I don’t know if it was just me but what has the CPU and sound tests got to do with it? I know that it would be good to see if there was any trouble with your system set up but It seems to take it all into accout in the end resault?

#4

I got 168 (YES 168 only) on my old old Radeon AIW. Damn, my P4-2.6Ghz is useless on this. :a

#5

946 , GeForce 4Ti4200 on an Athlon 900 (9x100Mhz)

#6

what would be good on this test?

#7

The highscorers get around 5000 points

#8

Wanna see high score? This is high score (on 3DMark 2001, though):

#9

This is how the todays GPU’s do in 3DMark03

#10

1527 3DMark’s
Compare URL

Think that’s a nice score compared with Airhead’s picture.

It’s easy to understand why nVidia doesn’t like 3Dmark 03 when you see that table

#12

all the benchmarks i’ve seen around the new nvidia’s dont really put them in the best of light either, as compared to the ati’s…but this is the wrong forum for that discussion

#13

Finally got some time to test it on one system.

4962 3DMarks2003 on P4 2667Mhz, 512MB PC1066 RDRAM and HerculesR9700Pro (OS is crappy though)
The same rig gets about 15k 3Dmarks2001SE.

I still have to run it on the P4 3Ghz, RDRAM, r9700pro but this baby seems to have some conflicts atm :frowning:

#14

3500 with my 9500 Pro

#15

Haven’t tried it. Maybe once I put my new motherboard in and get rid of this POS I have right now.

#16

4700 with everything running in the background.
AMD XP 2600 O/C @ 2220MHz
1024 MB PC3200 in synch at 185MHz
Radeon 9700 Pro

#17

1300 and someting, for system specs see my sig

#18

5234 3dmarks 2003
16986 3dmarks 2001 se

everything overclocked. GPU overclocked to 381 core 351 memory with stock heatsink / fan

i could push harder but my temps are crap lol

47c idle 58c max load.

p.s if you check my old score in the sig you will see i did get higher LOL but thats with going overboard but my temps seem to be holding at the moment… :stuck_out_tongue:

3DMark seem heavily weighted towards the vid card. Any change in vid card performance has a big impact. When I upgraded to the 9700pro, (from a 8500-128MB), my score went up 25%.

So you actually scored over 3700 points with a Radeon 8500? That really surprises me, as a GF4-Ti4200 should be able to outperform a 8500, and a 4200 only reaches up to about 1500 3D marks…
