Not that I care because I don’t plan on buying into this gimmick, but this is just wrong. Now they’re playing games with content. I think this will hurt them even more as consumers will view this plan negatively.
Also, that pic is really hard on my eyes. What sort of a person posts a pic like that?
That’s just a bloody retarded idea.
Yah, how are you supposed to promote a format (3D) when the studios are refusing to release content? Are they trying to shoot themselves in the foot?
How to kill off 3D in the home in one easy lesson.
Hindsight is 20/20 … even in 3D
Until they come out with 3D porn…Not worth my time or money.
How dumb can they get? Result will be customers will not buy until there is a standard format. No one is stupid enough to lock themselves into a limited format.
This is the dumbest thing since VCR vs. Betamax.
I agree with most here… what??? This will hurt them we all basically were forced to go digital and or HD but this isn’t the solution to get the latest thing promoted.
I think at this point in time … consumers can buy 0 blurays that are in 3D … and there are currently 0 3D channels … and currently there are 0 fans of the stupid $200 3D glasses …
I’m sure every HDTV buyer that wants 3D wants just a single 3D movie to explain to their friends the benefits of their new $500 premium TV …
My boss told me that one of his friends recently bought a 3D TV & was going on about how great 3D was … and I explained the situation regarding no 3D blurays, and no 3D channels … and he said “What a dickhead”.
3D studios will be releasing a new drama … Way of the Dodo …

Ha! Well perhaps he got ONE shiny 3D Blu-ray movie bundled with his 3D TV purchase. If not, then…

He bought it about 2 months ago … when there was 0 3D content available, not even bundled.
In Oz, the only 3D TV’s available atm are the samsungs, which will convert standard 2D into 3D … bah
