3520A Wont Burn R-G04 @ 8x

tried to burn G04 @ 8x with FW 1.UA but DVDD set it right back to 4x.

bad media…not every media could burn at that speed :wink:

could be that you limit your drive with the program to 6x or the “other” media is a better brand… :wink:

i didnt limit the drive to 6x, if u look at the at log i selected 8x Write speed and it was the same media (Office Depot Branded Ritek G04)

i know i know that it is the SAME MEDIA but it is a OTHER DVD…no DVD/CD is like the SAME…a few of my ritek g04 media could burn at 8x others only at 4x… and that is the same BOX…
