3520A and 3540A Questions

Hey guys, I read that only the 3530 onwards supports ripping all copy protections? I have a 3520A, what does this mean for that drive?

For both of my drives (3520 and 40 A), is the MKM … 001 media always going to produce good results? (Verbatim DL media, lifetime guarantee)

I hear verbatim is also the best media for DVD+R is this the case?
