Please see: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.php?p=1050374&postcount=281 for reference to here…

I just double-flashed my 3520 and I am getting equally bad results… I’m not sure if this is some kind of firmware problem or a hardware problem, and I don’t have alot of discs to test this with…

Anyone have any similar problems with LD 3520FW?

Note, earlier I had similar problems with CMCMAGE01 when it hit 8x in the burn, PIE/PIF went VERY high… Does my drive have a problem burning at higher speeds?

Thanks alot!

Anyone? :frowning:

I need to know if this is a firmware or hardware problem… I don’t have many discs left to test at all and I want to know if it’s a lost cause to keep wasting discs on it or if it is a known problem with 1.UG?

Thanks alot.

Note, I did try burning the T02 at 8x also, results were even worse.

Given that the drive can still burn at (almost) 16x, I don’t think it’s dying. Maybe try to flash again? another firmware?

Try do defragment your hdd or just make a new install of OS and drivers.

It’s not the drive nor the OS, my 3540 works fine…

Ah well, I guess it’s time to toss it… Or not… It’ll officially be my reading and scanning drive from now on. I even double flashed 3.04 stock, and it still gave horrible burns :frowning:

Though it reads and scans fine
