I am not officially confused, anyone know

#2

3500:
4x DVD+RW & DVD-RW
4x DVD+R DL
3510:
6x DVD-RW, 8x DVD+RW
4x DVD+R DL & 4x DVD-R DL

In other words… 3510 supports higher DVD±RW speeds and it supports DVD-R DL.
You could search for this info on the forum or even with google!

So the rumor about the 3500 having better quality than 3520 are lies?

#6

i think he ment hardware wise. So is anyone going to come out with a firmware that reads or writes DVD+/-RWs at higher speeds?

#7

Last time I checked the specs at newegg, the 3520A didn’t have D/L DVD-R writing capabilities.

D/L DVD-R is expected to March. Then NEC is supposed to release a FW with that feature.
