3 Monitors?

so i have this video card currently…

since it has 3 inputs (2 DVI, 1 HDMI) could i run 3 monitors off of it?
The reason i ask is, that i am about to buy a new hdmi monitor (i already run two DVIs) and someone wants to buy my older smaller monitor from me. But if i can run 3 monitors, i’d rather do that for editing purposes.
Any idea? thanks in advance!

The third monitor has to have a “display port” connector in order to run three monitors.

is that because my card has a display port on it, or is that the general rule to get it to work with 3 monitors? because once i buy the new monitor i would run that off of hdmi, the other 2 current monitors i have would be able to run off of the 2 dvis on the card. if that is possible, that is…

i cant find any lit on that function anywhere for this card. thanks again

Driver version 8.66 (Catalyst 9.10) or above is required to support ATI Eyefinity technology and to enable a third display you require one panel with a DisplayPort connector.

There is however an active adater, that allows you to transform DisplayPort signal to DVI-signal. More information about the device

thanks… looks like it might just be cheaper to buy a second video card and cross fire them b!tches… that would work, right?

You cannot in a crossfire setup, the second card ports are deactivated.

Here is some reading for ya.

All you should really need is a passive adapter and a DVI cable.
