Less than $200 I would say at least. How long did it take before DVD players were about $50? As soon as the Chinese manufacturers pickup production prices will go down like a shot goose.

I disagree with the first and the third prediction. We shall see…

2nd Prediction: Prices have already dropped on 720p plasmas considerably ever since the 1080p plasmas have come out. Why is this person predicting a drop when it already has. 3rd prediction: Meh, I don’t see it. Maybe next year. I guess we will see.

“As soon as the Chinese manufacturers pickup production prices will go down like a shot goose.” Um, Sony has publicly stated that they will not license any Chinese-made BD players for a very long time.

Damn, I guess all that’s left are cheaper, unlicensed Chinese BD players. :slight_smile:
