209D read DVD+R/-R only at 8x?

Hi!

I never used the 209D often for read DVDs, but I think I remember it could read DVD-R/+R at 16x with FW1.34. Now, with 1.50 and 1.51 it only reads max. 8x

Anyone elese have this problem or a hint?

My S09 and 209M with v1.51 firmware reads -R at 12x.

According to the specs these models should read +R/-R at 16x

Vogelschreck told me about Quiet Mode. There is a tool to set it for some models, but not for the 209D :frowning:

Edit: These low speeds are only present in CDSpeed Transfer Rate test? Checking the readability of the disc shows Full Speed.
