Right Click on the Intel ULTRA ATA storage Controller & select uninstall.
Reboot your computer, and will take about 30seconds (after booting) to detect your ATA Controller, install the drivers & find your DVD Writer.
After that's all done, it should automatically be in UDMA mode (unless there is some sort of hardware/cable fault), and you just need to have a quick look again to make sure it's working right
If you are very worried about deleting it (you shouldn't be because windows is pretty tolerant for this sort of stuff), you can tell it to use a standard Dual Channel PCI IDE controller driver, instead of the intel Drivers.
Right Click on the Intel Ultra ATA controller -> Update Driver -> Install from a list or Specific location -> Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install -> Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller. ->NEXT/OK until end.
