1620 Starting to Die?

Today I tried 3 different medias, all quality stuff (TY, etc) and dvddecrypter or nero won’t get past writing the lead-in. I have to reboot to get them to shut down. Red burn light on 1620 just keeps flashing unless I reboot.

Guess it’s time for an RMA. Only had drive 2 months…does the same thing with B7T9 or B7U9.

Had similar problems in the past, always turned out to be a software fault cause by either new software, new drivers or something getting screwed in windows.

If possible try the drive in another machine as theres a good chance there is nothing wrong with it.

Only new software is latest version of dvddecrypter. I’ll try the old one.
