Just bought the dvr-109 and flashed it to a a09 with 1.40 firmware. I bought a splindle of optodisc 8x printable dvds and they can only be burnt at 4x?

Use better & recommended discs or wait for an update.

Hmmm another example of Pioneer’s lacking media compatibility. :frowning:
These 8x Optodisc DVD-Rs should definitely be supported at 8x.
Let’s hope they address this with the next firmware.

I have been burning at 8X. I use Sony DVD-R. I tried Ritek, maxell, taio yuden, verbatim…some others i just cant remember( + and - R media). The Sony Dvd-R media gives me the best burns. Just figured I’d let you know.
