Hmmm. I can buy Blu-ray movies from any region and rip them to my PC and play them via my media player?? Or will they follow the DBA edict and lock them…

Without the blue ray media taking a similar plunge down to $2-3 per disc, there is no point in cheap BR burners.

Burners? These are BD readers! When I can buy a cheap burner and cheap blanks I might get interested. I can already burn DVD’s and I don’t need BD media playback even though I can. If I want HD I just go to my nearest torrent tracker.
