Thanks my friend your continued help is sooo appreciated when you get old like me
And thank you for the correcting post, but I am able to navigate around a computer reasonably well.
I’ve already looked at the things you have suggested in your post, although a little pointless, because it’s booting up in the proper time now and all was as it’s supposed to be. I also disabled the Badger anti tracker, the popup blocker and Adblock plus. I’ve looked in O&O and the part that stops app notifications and it isn’t switched on.
The Malwarebytes anti exploit banner works in word and everywhere else it’s supposed to. I’m wondering if the recent update to Firefox has something to do with it. I’m hoping it’s just the notification that’s not working and the anti exploit is working.
What I don’t understand is the annoying thing fixed the booting problem it’s self after the last corruption. I’m wondering if a download from Microsoft has intervened somehow?
I will keep searching for the anti exploit banner problem, I’m sure I will find out what causes it not to function in Firefox sooner or later. I going to see if it works in IE and Edge next. Oh and BTW, it works fine in 7 as it used to in 10. I still think Windows 10 may have more in it than meets the eye, perhaps it’s become self aware! LOL
