1ClickDVDCopy supports any drive that is SATA. You have to buy an SATA drive you cannot make an IDE drive into an SATA drive. Your warning is flawed. I have 3 SATA drives that work perfectly with this software. You have to connect your drive to the SATA ports on your motherboard. Not the IDE Cable or ribbon.

Funny ,
I have s SATA / TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S203N
Hooked Up and Working
You have other Issues , I’m sure
SATA drives don’t use the DMA Setting
in the same way
What gave you the Idea that you needed to Reset your DMA ?

The SATA Drive is not the Issue
Are you using a RAID controller ?
Do you have it configured properly - for the ODDs ?
