The last Sony product I had was a VCR & it was crap.
They used to be good but not any more.

The problem with most Sony TV’s is they keep dumbing down the product and using other makers panels and things so you could probably get a much more advanced TV for less money that works and looks better from someone else.
They do have one or two top grade sets out there that have all the latest features and look awesome but most folks see the Sony name and buy the cheapest set they can find from them and think it has to be better because Sony is all over it.
It does sound like so far nobodies house has burned down or anyone has been hurt but all makers have to stop getting the cheapest untested parts possible and maybe things like that wouldn’t happen.
