I’m using some Verbatim DVD-R RitekG03’s

What could be causing this error?!

The sense key indicates that something is wrong with your drive. First make sure you’re using the latest Alcohol version, try another type of media and check if no other drives are having the same issue, and if the problem doesn’t go away, send your drive to RMA if the problem remains.

BONK I found out, it was as simple as DL’ing the new ASPI layer 4.72.1… I could have sworn I HAD it installed… but I dunno, it even eventually worked. But 2x is MIGHTY slow! lol Thanks for the reply!

Alcohol doesn’t need any ASPI layer, it uses its own device control interface. Go to Alcohol’s options and under the General tab set your device control interface to the recommended.

Haj, I have the same problem with my alcohol.

My conf. is:

as you can see the problem is the same, this wouldn’t be a problem if a haven’t burned 4 DVD-s beafore this one. All DVD-s are TraxData 8x. all recorded on the same way.

I have bought 10 DVD in a box & 5 of them have the same problem & error. usualy the fail around 80-90% before they are finished. All of them are recorded on 8x, but img file was every time difrent.

any ideas ??

Ps: sorry for Eng writing (( i’m not so good =( ))
