    It's better for C1 errors but jitter is still very high at the end of the disc.

    Hi guys I updated the firmware of my LiteOn to Wind's LLV2 and burned a cd @ 48x here are the results:

    Total time was 2:40 as seen here :

    That's a nice Jitter result juancdg, do you have problems with burning CD-R before applying this firmware? When is your drive manufactured?

    Yes, the jitter was high and my cd players won't play the cds burned with the LiteOn (I have some posts in this thread). I am going to check the manufacturing date.

    I have burned a different cd-r media at 48x and the results were not very good :

    Disc is not detected by the cd player. It's strange the jitter drop after the 20 minutes .

    I think they will check a lot of writing strategies in the A1/A4 series. Too many discs have jitter problems, especially at lower speed, and are unreadable. I'm sure of this.

    I'm waiting for a DH-20A4H (for a friend of mine). I'll test some CDs (CMC, TY, Daxon) to see writing quality because I know that also A4 series has some problems. In case of issues I'll post in a separate thread.

    Disc does play in the cd player but as larc919 said jitter is still higher than ideal but it's a great improvement .
