Plextor releases PlexTools Professional update, v2.25

, we know that Plextor has released an update of their PlexTools
Professional software. With PlexTools you can perform various tasks, using your
Plextor optical drive, ranging from digital audio extraction, burning CD/DVD
compilations and advanced quality measurements. Here is the changelog of
PlexTools Professional version 2.25:


PlexToolsPlexTools Professional V2.25 Changed:



  • General: Updated OggVobis libraries to V1.1.1

  • DAE: Improved LAME options

  • CD/DVD ROM Maker: If the size of the project exceeds 4700MB, the
    volume bar will auto-adjust itself.

  • Q-Check Beta/Jitter Test: Improved Beta and Jitter results.

Bug Fix:



  • Disc Copy: Pressing 'Save' at the end of the DVD-Copy write process,
    can crash the software.

  • AudioCD Player: The track position indication can be
    incorrect.

PlexTools Professional can be downloaded from the PlexTools website. Users who
have an original PlexTools installation CD can install the upgrade for free, if
you haven't got this CD you can purchase the software online. Feel free to
