    at present, how it is the situation about the control quality of the supports dvd? what dvd-rw is good to buy to make write test? thanks

    Does Discspeed 5 or cd-dvdspeed 4 work properly with the liteon ihas422 drive? My test results seem quite abnormal..very bad, but when I test on another drive, the results are good.

    Hello.

    I have a Lite-On DVDRW LH-20A1P drive (ATA133) (firmware KL0N)
    For some reason Nero Disk Speed 4.11.4.0 now says that Disk Quality Scans are not supported by this drive, when 2 days ago, Quality Scans worked fine when this drive was in my old system.

    I have just built a new system and i am now using windows vista 64bit, where as previously i was using windows xp pro 32bit, so i dont know if it is the OS difference or just Nero Disk Speed that caused the loss in Quality scan capability.

    I also have another Lite-On DVDRW LH-20A1L drive (SATA)(firmware BL01), which still works with Disk quality scans.
    Both these drives are the same model just one is ATA133 and the other is SATA. The ATA133 is the one that now for some reason wont do Quality Scans, while the SATA one still does.

    Both drives burn and read DVD's with no issues.

    Any ideas what happened for me to lose Quality Scan functionality on my LH-20A1P drive?

    Update: I also just tried Nero Disk Speed version 5.0.1.250 and it does the same thing.

    Hello. I have Nero CD-Disc Speed V. 4.12.1.0 and for some reason It will not allow me to run the disc quality test. The start button can simply not be clicked. I have been using DVD Info Pro instead. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the quality test to work?

    Some drives simply do not support disc quality scans. Others, like some Samsung models, can do the tests, but are blocked in the registry from using the program. (an easy fix by the way)

    Which make and model dvd burner do you have?
